An aboriginal ceremony is when boys become men. The boys are usually aged between 12-16 years when they are taken from their mothers. The boys are taken from their mothers are have red ocher over their body. The boys are taken into the bush were they are shown a series of secret-sacred dances. The dances that are shown tot he boys stay on the boys side and are not to be told and shown to the girls and women.
